She:kon I lived in kahnawake in the summer and fall of 1990. I was an intern teaching at kss. Tomorrow, sept. 18 will be 25 years since the army tried to raid the village via the island. That summer changed my life. I was never the same. I became a reporter after that to make sure the truth is reported unlike that summer. I wrote a book, moccasins and razor wire. And now, it comes through in my songs. Here is a PG version of the song “MOHAWK WAR SONG” I am an azorean of Brazilian lines and a close fsmily friend of many in Kahnawake. It was in the tear gas that ” Magik Squirrel” was born.
